Donna Davis is an artist who works with things found within the landscape both natural and human made. She uses assemblage, installation and digital media to capture and create sites of ecological observation.
As artist-in-resident at the Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Donna researched and developed a new body of work entitled The Plant Room: Nature’s powerhouse.
The resulting installation documented the silent struggle of plants ‐ living powerhouses, essential for life on Earth.
As an artist, Donna is intrigued with the idea of connection, and how connections, in both natural and social realms, inform everyday discourse.
Donna will exhibit three pieces at Draw me a discovery on June 19.
